Interesting, but I feel like EDM and CBJ have opposite problems. EDM has stars and can't find supporting players. CBJ has great supporting players and trouble getting/keeping stars. Irony. |

"I agree he needs to play more, and hopefully he will get more as he plays better. We have talked about him getting more icetime, and we have talked to him about taking more ownership." Keith Gretzky on Puljujarvi

Trade Pully to the Jets who are a team that over ripens players in the minors and slowly integrates them into the lineup. The Jets could trade a couple of NHL ready players with leadership, character and who know how to win, which the Oilers sorely lack. Unlike the Oilers the Jets would put him on the Moose for at least a year to learn how to play an NHL game. |

I think you need to check the definition of the word "irony", Alanis |

Pully isn't going to get the Jets top line players as he may not become more that a 3rd/4th liner but one or a combo of Little, Myers, Perreault, Tanev, Copp, Morrow, Chiarot, Kulikov and Petan or a good prospect could be had. Depending on what the Oilers would want they may have to add a pick. However I don't think Chevy would want to part with many players on this list. |

I think as great a player McDavid is he seems to play only for himself and his individual stats. He isn't a leader that works hard on both ends but after the game, which is usually a loss he says all the right things. The difference between him and Crosby who is a real leader, is that Crosby plays with average wingers and makes them better while McDavid has to play with the Oilers best players to satisfy his need to look good. That's why the Oilers need to trade some of their so called top players for real leaders to show players like McD what it takes to work hard and to win.

I think you don't watch many Oiler games. He had a bad night defensively last night, but it is far from a regular occurrence.
Which players are these? The Oilers have ONLY 3 players who are gonna crack 40 points this season. Are you really advocating that they trade what little depth they actually have? |

All he does is carry the team on his back. He looks exhausted because of the pressure he’s under and the minutes he logs every night. And now some fools want him to be a Selke winner.
He doesn’t need anyone to show him anything, but he needs some help to relieve some of the pressure he’s under. |
